Tom Martens : Associate Vice President of Creative and Branding for Visit Forth Worth

Tom Martens is the Associate Vice President of Creative and Branding for Visit Fort Worth as well as the Director of Hear Fort Worth.  

Having worked for an ad agency, Tom Martens eventually became a freelancer working in branding and marketing, all while picking up additional creative skills along the way. While freelancing, loyal clients from previous work engagements followed him, because they appreciated Tom and his work so much. During this time, Tom began doing contract work with Visit Fort Worth. Eventually joined the team full-time, because he fell in love with the people that were marketing the city. 

For 12+ years, Tom Martens has had a huge impact on the way outsiders and locals alike view Fort Worth (aka  “The Modern West.”) A supporter of the arts, Tom has also worked hard to make Fort Worth a “Music Friendly City” by supporting musicians and working with the city to make playing music around town less complicated. Finding countless progressive ways to promote the city, Tom Martens has helped put Cowtown on the map and given Fort Worthians a rallying cry to unite them because there are no bigger fans of Fort Worth than Fort Worthians.
