Strategic Brand Director

A Strategic Brand Director is the strategic driver and primary point of contact for the foundational marketing projects of 6th Ave Storytelling’s clients. This person partners with our Account Manager, our Creative Lead, and our Digital Media team to map out and lead the execution of strategic deliverables; from brand identities and brand language development to websites and collateral. This person has extensive client-facing experience in marketing, is excellent at leading and managing a team, and is constantly seeking out knowledge and new skills.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation

  • $80,000-$90,000 (based on experience)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Required Experience

  • 7+ Years in a marketing strategic role

  • Project and team management experience

  • Experience working on a variety of projects, including branding, websites, photo, video, etc.

  • Copywriting and content development experience preferred

  • Experience working on a variety of projects including branding, websites, photos, video, etc.

  • Experience and understanding of StoryBrand Marketing methodology is a plus

Key Responsibilities

Client Relations

  • Leads presentation of client deliverables

  • Onboards new clients; sets and maintains healthy working relationships

  • Leads client communication including expectations, timelines, requests, approvals, etc.

  • Develops meaningful client relationships by resolving issues, expressing empathy, and delivering excellent work (an experience that the client will tell others about)

  • Identifies and proposes additional services to clients in an effort to achieve their marketing goals

Brand Strategy

  • Identifies insights, challenges, and opportunities for clients through a deep knowledge of marketing strategies and their clients story and objectives

  • Leads the development of brand language, positioning, and big-picture marketing strategy 

  • Acts as a “final approver” on all client deliverables

  • Works alongside the creative director to lead the planning and development of strategic project deliverables

  • Determines and communicates project budgets to Project Manager

  • Leads Project Manager to execute efficient, high value projects

Research

  • Leads the team in the implementation of new service offerings and deliverables based on changing markets and trends
